Ms. King is a connoisseur of eclectic music due to her melting pot heritage. She accredits her father for her affinity of music. Mr. King, who was once in an R&B group signed to Sony Records in 1993, was an inspiration in her love for entertaining. Throughout her childhood she listened to legends ranging from Patsy Kline to Marvin Gaye.  Ms. King notes beloved musicians such as Outkast, Prince and Madonna as an her early musical influences, which inspired her to create a culmination of pop rock, hip-hop and soul. If dedication plus talent equals success, then Ms. King is on her way up. This alluring singer spends her days under the Sun recording and expanding her artistry.In addition to crafting her debut project, Ms. King has penned many songs for other artists while working with an array of exclusive producers, such as Eric Sermon, Timothy Bloom and Dem Jointz to name a few. Regarding her current assortment of work, an untitled debut album, she states, “This project describes my road to self discovery. Sometimes it’s a little provocative and dark, but it’s honest. I’d say it is like ripping a page out of my diary. At times it can be vulnerable, but singing over 808’s gives it a little edge”.

The songstress is devoted to making music listeners can relate to. “I was always intrigued with the wordplay and hidden messages in songs, especially lyrics in rap. Whether it is a certain attitude, emotion or experience, I attempt to convey a message while still making it relevant, and danceable for the clubs.” Good luck finding her carbon copy.
